As a part of the '16 days of activism against gender-based violence' we are organising a walk to send the message that violence and disrespect has no place in our community. This is a family friendly event, and you are encouraged to wear purple or purchase a Say No t shirt at the event. Meet at SEED Community Garden at 5.30 pm on Friday 27 November then walk one or both of Lakes Guyatt and Guthridge (3.5km). Free BBQ following. Come individually or make up a team from your organisation. Registration optional but will help us with catering.
Let's turn the lakes a sea of purple to show support for victims and survivors and send the message that we SAY NO to domestic and family violence.
